Inspirational Angel Ornaments

I am "tickled pink" with my Nature's Blessings Angel Ornaments with Blossom Bucket.
I have Earth Mother hanging from my Inspirtational Tree I made in the studio. She is so sweet and I love giving them as gifts for my friends and family. Our Earth really needs Mother Nature to embrace her right now. We all need to think of ways we can help heal our Earth and keep her beauty and wonder glowing for our children!
Have a wonderful week!
Keep Smiling!

Creating with a full heart!

The studio is a bit crazy right now as I prepare for the Atlanta Gift Show. I have several meetings booked and I'm staying with my wonderfully creative friends Paula and Tom. www.paulajoerling.com
They have the most amazing loft right downtown Atlanta, close to the show! Paula holds an artist gathering which is always full of fun and giggles....we may even belt out a few show tunes! LOL
I wanted to share a couple new pieces with you. That's Charley pictured above, from a cat collection I finished. I also made a necklace which has been in my head forever and I finally made it! It's a black and white photo of my Dad holding me (the adorable baby) and my beautiful sister Al with her curly hair. It's a photo that is dear to my heart, as we lost my Dad 20 years ago! He would have been 76 this year. I think about him everyday!
Have a wonderful day everyone....keep smiling!

A walk down the creek

Today we took a nice long walk down the creek. It's just a hop, skip and a jump from the house and even though it's in the city...we feel like we're out in the country! Connor and his buddy Tegan caught several crayfish and a few frogs. I let the boys have their fun and walked around snapping pictures and collecting things for my paintings! I love to make stamps from leaves, rocks, drift wood...whatever I can find in nature. Heart rocks will always make an apperance if you look closely...so make sure to carry a pencil and write a message for the next person out for a stroll!

Fear, Courage and Authenticity!

Kelly Rae Roberts http://kellyraeroberts.com http://www.brenebrown.com/badge/?success=true

I signed up for Kelly Rae Roberts e-course which started May 30th! I am loving every minute and I can't wait for the next class, which is on Wed or Thurs. By the way, you can still join in on this creative, inspiring, heartfilled adventure...just click the link I've attached on the sidebar!
Kelly writes with true honesty...right from her heart and deep within her soul. Her words resinate with all of us that want to find our true authentic creative selves.
I sit in my studio all day, drawing, painting and designing. Do I love what I do, YES! But everyday has it's challenges. Everyday, I ask myself "am I painting what I love...am I painting what comes from my heart?"
Sometimes in this licensing world, you can get caught in the whirlwind of painting all the things the companies and magazines are telling you to!
My work is the best, when it means soemthing to ME! When the message from my heart is all over my canvas!
Thank you Kelly for inspiring all of us to create from our hearts and not our heads!!
Today Kelly introduced us to Dr. Brene Brown. I love her blog and I especially loved watching her video on "More Honsety and Less How-to!" Click on her link above, take 10 minutes and watch the video, everything she says is true for all of us!!
Much love, Robin
